Coverage:
As the introductory video rolls, the play-by-play team extends a warm welcome to viewers.
Eight Tag Team Match: Orange Cassidy, Bandido, Roderick Strong, and Adam Cole vs. The Jericho Appreciation Society
– Cole applied the ‘Boom’ to win the match.
As the match concludes, Cole ambushes Jericho on the ramp, delivering a series of brutal punches.
Backstage, Renee interviews Jack Perry and Darby Allin, who, despite their differences, share a common goal: to become the number one contenders at Double or Nothing.
Following a commercial break, security forces Cole to leave the premises, but not before Britt Baker confronts and slaps Jericho. Meanwhile, Blackpool Combat Club, featuring Bryan Danielson, extols their mission to make AEW the top wrestling organization, setting themselves apart from The Elite. Danielson even claims to surpass Bret Hart and all other wrestlers in skill.
Moxley chimes in, suggesting that The Elite ought to be grateful for the competition they provide. He announces a steel cage match against Omega scheduled for next week, teasing a new, improved version of himself that he’s eager to unveil. Moxley vows to make a lasting impact in the world of Pro Wrestling.
Singles Match: Saraya vs. Willow Nightingale
– Saray hits the good night for the win.
Post-match, Willow falls victim to a vicious assault. Hikaru Shida’s entrance music signals her arrival, and she aligns herself with the Outcasts. Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker join the fray, targeting Storm and Soho. Shida proceeds to attack Saraya with kendo sticks and ultimately spray paints the Outcasts.
Backstage, the House of Black hosts an open house, welcoming fellow wrestlers. They guarantee title opportunities for any challengers and introduce new regulations, including 20-second countouts and the elimination of rope breaks.
Tres De Mayo Trios Battle Royale:
– The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass win after eliminating Butcher and Sabian.
Backstage, Renee interviews Sammy Guevara, but MJF interrupts before Sammy can speak. Addressing last week’s incident, MJF claims he had back pain and needed to lie down in the backseat. Sammy accepts his explanation and mentions their upcoming main event at Double or Nothing.
Following a commercial break, Kenny Omega and Don Callis appear backstage. Callis laments the consequences of Moxley’s actions, but asserts that Moxley lacks Omega’s intellect. He predicts Moxley’s downfall when they face off. Omega acknowledges Moxley’s fighting prowess but declares that he will be the last man standing. With tensions escalating, their personal feud is set to conclude next week.
Singles Match: Wardlow vs local talent
– Wardlow won with the symphony powerbomb.
Following the match, Wardlow boasts about his endurance and challenges Christian and Luchasaurus. As Christian’s entrance theme plays, he emerges alongside Luchasaurus, taunting the audience. He insinuates that he could have Luchasaurus wrest the Championship from Wardlow, but rules out the possibility of it happening in Baltimore. Announcing his intentions to claim the title shot for himself, Christian exits the scene.
Singles Match: Ricky Starks vs. Juice Robinson
– Stark won with Rochambeau.
Upon the match’s conclusion, Jay White launches a surprise attack on Starks from behind. As Starks attempts the Rochambeau on White, Juice Robinson intervenes, allowing both White and Robinson to flee the ring.
In preparation for their upcoming bout, Jack and Darby discuss strategy. After Darby exits, MJF approaches Jack, proposing that they could become the leading wrestlers in the company. He then urges Jack to betray Darby during the match, enticing him with the prospect of a position alongside the reigning champion. When Darby returns and inquires about the conversation, Jack reassures him that there’s nothing to worry about.
Four Pillars Tag Match: MJF & Sammy Guevara vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry & Darby Allin
– Darby hit the coffin drop on Sammy to win the match.
