It’s Friday… you know what that means.
We are live. Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and Don Callis greet the crowd at home while The Elite, Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy and Ethan Page are already waiting in the ring.
AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Elite (Kenny Omega & Young Bucks) (c) (w/ Don Callis) vs. The Firm (Ethan Page, Isiah Kassidy & Matt Hardy) (w/ Stokely Hathaway)
– Omega’s trio won with a “BTE Trigger” on Kassidy.
We go backstage with Lexy Nair and Ricky Starks. Nair asks Starks for his answer to the Garcia-Guevara Gauntlet Challenge thrown to him by the Jericho Appreciation Society on Wednesday. Starks says he put his foot in his mouth, but that’s fine with him because he says if that’s the way to get to Chris Jericho, then that’s what he’s going to do. He says he’s going to embarrass Jericho and beat him up again.
Back from the break, we go to a video of Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh bragging about stealing the Golden Globe from Paul Walter Hauser and defeating Best Friends and Danhausen. Danhausen responds in a second video and tells them they will be cursed.
Back in the ring, Brian Pillman Jr heads to the ring, followed by Swerve Strickland, Parker Boudreaux and Trench.
Singles Match: Brian Pillman Jr vs. Swerve Strickland (w/ Mogul Affiliates)
– Strickland won with a “Swerve Stomp”.
After the fight, the Mogul Affiliates attack Pillman while Swerve winds a chain around his hand. Dustin Rhodes’ music hits and he runs into the ring to make the save.
Next, we move on to a video of the House of Black addressing their recent encounters with Eddie Kingston. Malakai Black says that he never wanted Kingston to join them and simply set out to corrupt him.
Back in the ring, Toni Storm and Saraya make their way to the ring, with The Renegade Twins already waiting inside.
Tag Team Match: Saraya and Toni Storm vs. Renegade Twins (Charlette & Robyn Renegade)
– Storm and Saraya won with a “Storm Zero” on Charlette.
After the luya, Storm and Saraya grab a can of spray paint. They draw an “L” on the twins.
Next up is a video of Adam Cole talking about his journey back to AEW.
Back from the break, Christopher Daniels makes his way to the ring, followed by RUSH, Preston Vance and Jose The Assistant.
Singles Match: Christopher Daniels vs. RUSH (w/ Jose & Preston Vance)
– RUSH won with a “Bull’s Horns”.
