AEW’s Eddie Kingston Returns at ROH Taping, Announces Surgery

AEW star Eddie Kingston made a surprise return at Ring of Honor’s (ROH) recent television taping at Universal Studios. Following his loss to ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli at Supercard of Honor, Kingston took time off to address a hernia injury.
During the taping, “The Mad King” announced he is undergoing hernia surgery on Tuesday and expects to return in about six weeks.
Kingston’s opponent, Claudio Castagnoli, is set to face ROH World Tag Team Champion Rey Fenix in a “Double Jeopardy” match on the May 10 edition of AEW Dynamite. The match has implications for both the ROH World Tag Team Titles and the ROH World Title.
