AJ Styles Discusses Return to WWE Heavyweight Championship Picture

In a recent interview with Inside the Ropes, AJ Styles expressed his excitement at being back in the running for the WWE Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions. “I feel the same as you. It’s about time I’m back in the heavyweight title picture,” he shared.

Regarding his competitor, Styles acknowledged Rollins’ prowess, dubbing him “one of the best.” Furthermore, Styles also revealed his anticipation and a touch of anxiety about the two matches on his first night back, particularly in light of his current cardio condition.

“Oh, you’re gonna be in two matches your first time back in the ring with WWE. Oh, that’s great, because that’s where I wanted to be. Who knows where my cardio is at this point? It’s a bit worrisome, but I made it through, and now for my first biggest match in the WWE [since I returned], it’s gonna be against Seth Rollins in Jeddah. So yeah, no pressure.”

His first significant match since his return is set in Jeddah against Rollins.
