Arn Anderson discusses son’s upcoming AEW contract expiration

Since its inception, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has been busy signing talent from other promotions, especially WWE. They now have a roster filled with talented individuals. However, a recent issue has arisen due to an expanding roster: not everyone is able to get sufficient television time, leaving many younger talent without crucial exposure. With a few wrestler contracts set to expire this year, the company is facing the difficult decision of letting some contracts expire.

One of the contracts set to expire this year belongs to Brock Anderson, the son of legendary wrestler Arn Anderson. Brock made his AEW debut in 2021, but has been relegated to AEW Dark in recent months, despite his initial involvement in key storylines.

Arn Anderson recently spoke with Steve Fall for WrestlingNewsPremium and revealed that Brock’s contract is set to expire in May, with Arn having another year left on his own contract. He said that he’s having a great time working for AEW and will take advantage of the remaining year to support Brock in any way he can. Arn also stated that he will stay with AEW as long as they want him, but will not remain if he is not wanted. He added that if AEW would like him to stay on in a limited capacity after the end of his contract, he would love to.

Arn Anderson’s experiences and guidance could greatly benefit AEW’s younger roster of talent. However, with Brock’s recent lack of television time, it remains to be seen whether he will re-sign with the company.
