Bandido is still interested in signing with WWE

Bandido is one of the most valued Mexican talents in the United States. After losing the ROH Championship, he made appearances for All Elite Wrestling, eventually signing with Tony Khan. However, the Mexican indicated that, even if not immediately, he would like to work in WWE.
Speaking to SO CATCH, Bandido highlighted his interest in joining WWE, in addition to his previous training center experience.
“At some point I would like to go to WWE. Not now, but hopefully later. I was in WWE, they invited me to the Performance Center. They gave me a car to drive the whole week. It was amazing. I did. good friends. Chris Hero, I saw him at the Performance Center and he’s a really good friend of mine. I love you man.”
Bandido is known for his work in Mexico for companies like The Crash, Lucha Libre Elite, CMLL or AAA. When he arrived in the United States, he began to fight on the independent circuit, with emphasis on his participation in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where he was already world champion and winner of the Battle of Los Angeles tournament in 2019.
Upon reaching the Ring of Honor, he became world champion. His reign ended when in 2021 he was infected with COVID-19 and was unable to defend him in Final Battle. He was later defeated by Jonathan Gresham in a match to determine the Undisputed ROH World Champion.
In November 2022, Bandido signed with All Elite Wrestling and became a coveted member of the roster, contesting major matches against the likes of Chris Jericho and Bryan Daielson in singles matches. While he has yet to win any titles in AEW, he is expected to play a significant role in the promotion going forward.
