CM Punk attends Impact Wrestling’s Spring Slugfest taping in Chicago

CM Punk was reportedly present backstage at Impact Wrestling’s Spring Slugfest taping held at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, as per a recent update from Fightful Select. The event marks the second night of the Spring Slugfest series.

The report by Fightful Select highlights that CM Punk entered the venue accompanied by security personnel, passing by numerous fans in the process. This visit stands in contrast to his earlier encounter with WWE, where he was backstage during a recent WWE Raw episode to meet several individuals, including WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque. However, Punk was subsequently requested to leave the premises.

In other news, Mercedes Mone was also spotted at the venue, although it has been reported that she is not scheduled to compete in any match during the series. Mone was there in support of her friend and former WWE Tag Team collaborator, Trinity Fatu.
