Live Coverage:
The show started with Matt Cardona arriving at the arena. At first, an IMPACT Wrestling worker took him to his locker room and set up a table with champagne. However, this is finally not his and he takes Cardona to an old room with a chair. Cardona gets angry with the worker and he leaves.
No Surrender Qualifying Match: Brian Myers vs. Dirty Dango
– Myers won with a “Roster Cut”.
Gisele Shaw enters the dining room and begins to annoy everyone present. Deonna Purrazzo appears and says she heard what she said last week perfectly and throws food in her face. Santino Marella intervenes and agrees to a match between them at No Surrender.
Trey Miguel is interviewed backstage and talks about Crazzy Steve. The lights go down and Steve laughs as the Trey Miguel logo is displayed on the monitors in the back, painted by Crazzy Steve over the last few weeks.
Mixed Tag Team Match: Good Hands (Jason Hotch & John Skyler) vs. IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James & Tommy Dreamer
– James and Dreamer won with a “Double DDT” on Hotch.
After the match, Bully Ray attacks Dreamer and Masha Slamovich appears to finish James off.
Backstage, Santino Marella crosses paths with Johnny Swinger and Zicky Dice. They were going to propose to him, but Dirty Dango shows up and rejects the proposal on Marella’s behalf, something Marella doesn’t like, but claims he’s actually right: he won’t accept Swinger and Dice’s proposal. Johnny and Zicky talk and Dice states that all Swinger needs is a win and he has the perfect opponent.
Rich Swann talks about the moment he won the IMPACT World Championship and remembers that he was unable to celebrate the title with the public due to the pandemic. He then talks about how he beat multiple rivals up to Moose to unify the IMPACT and TNA titles.
He later talks about the fight of his life against Kenny Omega, when he was finally defeated and lost everything in one night. Swann says that for the past two years he has been thinking about the title and has watched the belt go through Omega, Christian Cage and now a good friend of his, Josh Alexander. Rich Swann ends by saying that he feels the time has come and at No Surrender he will regain his belt.
Steph De Lander makes her entrance to fight Jordynne Grace. Before the fight, De Lander speaks and says that everyone backstage is shaking because she has arrived.
Singles Match: Jordynne Grace vs. Steph De Lander
– Grace won with a “Grace Driver”.
Matt Cardona continues to complain about his treatment today as he believes he is a superstar. The IMPACT Wrestling employee tells him that he will take him to a better place and they arrive at the parking lot. Cardona stays outside the compound with her suitcase.
Josh Alexander is interviewed backstage and Gia Miller asks him about Rich Swann. Alexander says he has been one of the best in IMPACT and doesn’t think anyone would be happier to see Swann win the title again, but claims there will be no friends in No Surrender. Kenny King interrupts him and tells him about the danger of Rich Swann being his rival and at the same time his friend, but he knows that he is not a real threat. Rich Swann appears, taunts Kenny King and punches him in the face. Rich challenges him to fight now, but King replies that the next time they meet, it’s up to him.
Tag Team Match: IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Death Dollz (Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie) (w/ JesSICKa) vs. Killer Kelly & Taylor Wilde
– After Wilde showed a card about Kelly’s future, Rosemary and Valkyrie won with an “Assisted Facebuster”.
After the match, James Mitchell returns and addresses Rosemary directly, stating that he is not happy at all and has made up his mind. Suddenly, Marty Belle and Allysin Kay appear from behind and attack the Death Dollz.
Eddie Edwards speaks with Shera and Raj Singh backstage. Edwards asks Shera to finish off PCO tonight.
The Motor City Machine Guns meet KUSHIDA backstage and he congratulates them on winning the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championship. Ace Austin and Chris Bey interrupt and challenge Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and Kushida to a three on three match at No Surrender. Austin and Bey’s partner will be KENTA.
No Surrender Qualifying Match: PCO vs. Shera (w/ Raj Singh)
– PCO won with a “Moonsault”.
Gia Miller interviews Matt Cardona, who made it back to the arena but had to change in the parking lot. Cardona claims that now it has become something personal and goes to the first locker room where the champagne was at the beginning. Upon arriving, he sees that Myers is leaving with two IMPACT workers who are singing Joe Hendry’s entrance song. Myers follows this song with them clapping and Cardona breaks down. Brian Myers tells him it’s a catchy song.
Frankie Kazarian talks to Callihan backstage and tells him that he really knows what IMPACT means to him, trying to get Callihan back to who he was and not represent Design, which is exactly what they interrupt and Deaner tells Frankie if he wants to talk to Callihan, you have to talk to them first. Kazarian challenges Kon to a match at No Surrender.
IMPACT Digital Media Championship Match: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Matt Cardona
– After Myers accidentally hit Cardona with a “Spear”, Hendry retained the belt via pinfall.
After the match, Moose appears and Spears Cardona when trying to hit Hendry, but the champion runs away and plays the song he created for Matt Cardona again.
