IYO SKY Impresses at WWE Backlash Despite Loss

At WWE Backlash, IYO SKY challenged Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. Although ultimately defeated, SKY’s performance earned praise from both fans and her opponent. In an interview with WWE’s The Bump, Belair commended SKY as “dangerous,” “unpredictable,” and “one of a kind.”

Interestingly, the usually vilified SKY received cheers from the crowd during the match, compelling Belair to push herself further. SKY’s stablemates, Dakota Kai and Bayley, attempted interference but failed, leading to Belair’s victory with a KOD.

This win makes Belair the longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion, surpassing Becky Lynch.
