Jerry “The King” Lawler is hospitalized

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler has been hospitalized, according to PWInsider.
According to PWInsider, Lawler suffered a medical episode at his Florida condo on Monday afternoon (February 6).
While PWInsider chose not to report the nature of the issue, it was noted that the story that has been circulated is that Lawler met some friends for lunch and some time after the meal he fell ill and was rushed to the hospital. .
Neither WWE nor Lawler’s family have made an official statement about the situation at this time.
Ricky Morton, a friend of Lawler, has now posted a tweet expressing love for Lawler, writing:
“Please send good vibes, thoughts and prayers to Jerry at this time.”
“I sincerely thank you and hope to hear good news in the very near future ❤️”.
Dutch Mantell provided an update on Jerry Lawler. Mantell posted on Twitter, noting that he had spoken with Lawler’s son, Kevin, and that the WWE Hall of Famer was on the mend.
Mantel wrote:
“I just spoke to Kevin… he said he spoke to the Dr who said Jerry is getting better. He suffered some left side paralysis which he is now regaining the use of. The Doctor. said that Jerry should recover from this episode. Good luck Jerry.”
Action News 5 in Memphis, Tennessee posted more details about Jerry Lawler’s hospitalization. According to the report, Lawler suffered a stroke at his home in Fort Meyers, Florida. He later underwent surgery and is recovering in a Florida hospital.
The report notes that Lawler already suffered a stroke in 2018. Fans also remember that he suffered a heart attack live on WWE RAW in September 2012.
Lawler, who is 73 years old, most recently appeared for WWE at the January 28 Royal Rumble Kickoff show. His most recent public appearance was over the weekend at a book signing in Florida.
