John Cena Addresses Charlotte Flair’s Legacy

Charlotte Flair, a 15-time world champion, is now in a prime position to surpass Ric Flair’s long-standing record of 16 World Championships. This comes as John Cena and Randy Orton, who were once contenders for this record, have reduced their in-ring commitments, and Triple H has retired.

Cena, in a recent interview with “92NY,” expressed his admiration for Charlotte’s growing legacy and promised to congratulate her personally should she break her father’s record. “I do like the legacy that Charlotte is creating for herself. I know Ric Flair said something about if she were to win the 17th championship, we should both be there to shake her hand. I got to see Ric recently and tell him that if that happens, we will both be there because I think that’s tremendous.”

WWE acknowledges Charlotte’s two NXT Women’s Championships, six RAW Women’s Championships, and seven SmackDown Women’s Championships, making her a 15-time world champion.

As such, she stands on the brink of making wrestling history.
