Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn attended Jay Briscoe’s funeral after the WWE Royal Rumble

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn attended Jay Briscoe’s funeral in Delaware in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday, immediately after the end of the WWE Royal Rumble.

The journalist said the premium live event ended around 00:20h, with both managing to arrive in time for Briscoe’s funeral service, which ended at 01:00h.

Briscoe passed away a week and a half ago after a serious car accident, which involved two more victims.

Owens and Zayn headlined the main event of the WWE Royal Rumble, alongside Roman Reigns and Bloodline, in what was seen by many as a historic moment.
