Kyle Fletcher Absent from AEW Tapings Due to Illness

The reigning IWGP Tag Team Champion, Kyle Fletcher, was noticeably absent from the recent AEW tapings on May 17. According to Fightful Select, Fletcher was scheduled to participate but was withdrawn owing to an illness.

The wrestling star had previously made his presence felt on the May 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he confronted International Champion Orange Cassidy. That night at the Rampage tapings, Fletcher claimed victory over Action Andretti.

It is unclear when he will return to action. Fletcher, along with Mark Davis of Aussie Open, seized the IWGP Tag Team Championship from Bishamon during NJPW Sakura Genesis on April 8.
