Omos Shares His Thoughts on AJ Styles

In the past year, “The Nigerian Giant” Omos has been making waves in WWE, now supported by MVP. Previously, he teamed with AJ Styles, securing the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. Omos acknowledged his learnings from “The Phenomenal One” during “Insight with Chris Van Vliet.”
“Being vicious,” Omos begun of what he learned working alongside the former WWE Champion. “That, I think that’s what separates AJ from everybody else. AJ knows when to be vicious. He was mentoring me, which he still does today because he’s one of my closest friends. Look like you want to kill somebody, that is the art. It’s not about what you do, it’s what’s in here and what you’re conveying in your eyes. That was something I learned from him.”
Although Omos hasn’t clinched a high-profile victory since overcoming Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash 2022, he’s faced off against top talents like Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39. By the time Backlash concludes, he’ll have grappled with Seth “Freakin” Rollins as well.
