Sabu Joins Adam Cole During the AEW Dynamite of May 24th

Pro wrestling veteran Sabu caused a stir with a surprise appearance on AEW Dynamite in Las Vegas. During a tension-filled contract signing, it was revealed Sabu will be backing Adam Cole at the Double or Nothing event. Cole is set to face off against Chris Jericho in an unsanctioned match, a situation that escalated when Jericho provoked Cole by replaying footage of Britt Baker’s brutal attack. In response, Cole announced he’d sought additional support, leading to Sabu’s dramatic entrance.
Known for his hardcore wrestling style, Sabu held the ECW and NWA World titles, and was a cornerstone star of Extreme Championship Wrestling between 1995 and 2000. Having wrestled globally, he won several championships in Japan and later joined WWE in 2006.
His unexpected AEW debut saw him making a statement by hurling a chair at Matt Minard, sending the JAS members into retreat2. Sabu’s arrival certainly added a new layer of intrigue to the upcoming showdown between Cole and Jericho.
