Sareee Opens Up about her Time in WWE and Plans for the Future

Japanese pro wrestler Sareee, known for her brief stint with WWE NXT, recently reflected on her time with WWE in an interview with Monthly Puroresu. Sareee emphasized that her WWE run was not a failure, stating, “I’m really happy I went. I gained a lot of knowledge, I suppose. I did learn a lot while I was in the United States. I wasn’t able to bring my entire wrestling repertoire to the WWE, but I have absolutely no regrets about going.”

She also discussed her experiences in WWE and how it affected her fanbase, noting the fluctuation of the organization’s dynamics with each shift in top management. Despite not being able to give her all in her fights, she acknowledged an increase in her supporter base.

Sareee also commented on the growing interest in women’s wrestling in Japan, suggesting that adding more grit and fight could boost its growth further. Lastly, she expressed interest in pursuing the IWGP Women’s Championship after returning to Japan, expressing curiosity about the belt that Mr. Inoki introduced.
