Steve Austin Discusses Potential In-Ring Future with WWE

Stone Cold Steve Austin recently addressed his in-ring wrestling future during an interview with WESH2. After coming out of retirement to defeat Kevin Owens at WWE WrestleMania 38, Austin revealed that he had been approached by WWE for a match at WrestleMania 39.

Austin explained that his busy schedule, including filming for his reality show, “Stone Cold Takes on America,” made it difficult for him to commit to training for a match at WrestleMania 39. He stated that he could not have gotten into the necessary shape with his limited equipment while traveling.

Regarding the possibility of returning to the ring in the future, Austin said, “I’m not saying I will get back in the ring, but like I said at 38, if the stars align, anything could happen.” It is currently unclear if or when Austin might return to WWE programming in any capacity. “Stone Cold Takes on America” premieres on A&E on Sunday, April 30, at 10 PM ET.
