Steve Austin reveals why he returned at WrestleMania 38

Steve Austin recently revealed why he made his in-ring return at WrestleMania 38, during an appearance on Casual Conversations with The Classic.

Austin stated that he received a call from WWE and was asked if he wanted to participate in WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas. He accepted the offer due to the sentimental value of being close to where he played football and started his career with the Von Erich family. While he never thought he would come out of retirement, Austin was open to the opportunity if it aligned properly, and it did.

After a brutal match with Kevin Owens, Austin claimed victory with his signature move, the Stone Cold Stunner. Austin praised Owens’ in-ring and mic work and expressed his delight at working with him.

Although Austin has not heard anything about an appearance at WrestleMania 39, his willingness to come out of retirement shows that anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
