Steve Austin says he has overcome the desire to return to the ring

Steve Austin not planning a return to the ring anytime soon, according to an interview with NBC Los Angeles.

While he misses the camaraderie of being on the road with other wrestlers, Austin says he does not miss performing in the ring. “You have to understand that I retired in 2003, so it’s been a long time, so I’m over it,” he said. “But my days in the ring are done… although, I did do the main event at WrestleMania last year in Dallas, but that was kind of a fluke, and we pulled it off.”

The Texas Rattlesnake also turned down a proposed match against Brock Lesnar, which was eventually scrapped by WWE.
