Taya Valkyrie Challenges Jade Cargill for TBS Title at Double or Nothing
AEW’s May 19 Rampage saw TBS Champion Jade Cargill challenged by Taya Valkyrie for an upcoming match at Double or Nothing 2023. Following victories over Dani B and Jennacide, Cargill found herself attacked by Valkyrie, who demanded a title match and floored Cargill with her own finisher, Jaded.
This confrontation marks the latest chapter in an ongoing feud between Valkyrie and Cargill, which began with Valkyrie’s AEW Dynamite debut on March 15. Despite her suspension for physically confronting referee Aubrey Edwards, Valkyrie remains a determined challenger.
Cargill, the first-ever TBS Champion since defeating Ruby Soho on January 5, 2022, now faces a significant test at Double or Nothing.
