Tony Khan Shares Thoughts on WWE Sale to Endeavor Group

AEW President Tony Khan recently commented on the sale of WWE to the Endeavor Group. Speaking on CBS Sports’ “The Maggie and Perloff Show,” Khan expressed his initial interest in acquiring WWE and his optimism for the sale’s impact on the wrestling industry.

“I can’t speak to that, except to say that I was interested. And I think it’ll be also very interesting to see what happens with that sale,” Khan commented on his intent to purchase WWE. He further added, “Certainly in many ways, it’s a big positive to the pro wrestling business…pro wrestling is really back as an industry in many major ways in 2023.”

Khan’s comments highlight the potential benefits of the sale for the wrestling industry and AEW’s growing influence in it.
