Update on the Favorite to Win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Seth Rollins’ involvement in the upcoming Captain America: New World Order film has been met with positivity by WWE, despite earlier reports suggesting potential concerns. According to Fightful Select, there is no hesitation within the WWE regarding Rollins’ pursuit of the World Heavyweight Championship.

Rollins is set to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship at the forthcoming WWE Night of Champions event. Prior to this, there were speculations that Rollins’ participation in the film might cause some apprehension within WWE about placing him in a significant championship position. However, this notion has been firmly refuted by WWE higher-ups.

One WWE official stated, “I’m not saying who is going to win this weekend, but the idea that this is anything but a positive is an unrealistic way of thinking. I can’t speak to how those in charge a year ago would have felt, but now it’s seen as a positive, especially with Endeavor aboard. It also wasn’t a surprise. Colby (Lopez, Seth Rollins) is an exceptional talent and we expect these opportunities to come his way. We were made aware that the situation was happening, and he’s already done filming. We had planned out the sit-down interviews to make up for his absence and it’s full speed ahead.”

At the Night Of Champions, Rollins will be vying for the World Heavyweight Championship title against AJ Styles. This match will determine the first champion.
