This week, Vince McMahon’s conspicuous absence from WWE SmackDown was noticed, despite his integral role in creative decisions. As reported by Fightful’s Sean Sapp, McMahon, who is known for his impromptu script changes, was not present during the blue brand’s event. His primary focus has been the corporate aspect of WWE as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, given the company’s recent deal with Endeavor.

The deal stipulates an 11-member board, with five representatives from WWE, six from Endeavor, and additional participation from McMahon and Ari Emanuel.
