WWE could be “obliged” to put Sami Zayn to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39

Ever since Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn crossed paths with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, WWE’s idea was to make them bigger stars than they already are, successfully achieving that, however, that didn’t include putting them up to face the ” Tribal Chief” in the main event of WrestleMania 39.

However, as has been seen, Zayn’s performance before the public has been widely recognized and supported, with the Canadian having great chances of disputing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at “Showcase of Immortals”. This is due to the fact that The Rock may have refused to return for the big event, due to lack of time to prepare physically.

In a recent report, Dave Meltzer reported that except for Cody Rhodes, who was one day already planned to win the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, consequently challenging for the world titles at WrestleMania, WWE is very reluctant to put Zayn, Rock or anyone another wrestler to defeat Reigns at the respective event.

As we previously reported, in recent promotional material for WWE Elimination Chamber that was released, Zayn is featured, so this could indicate that his path to the main event of WrestleMania 39 could start at this event.
