WWE Has Big Plans for Austin Theory

Austin Theory, currently in his second reign as WWE United States Champion, is reportedly set to lose his title at SummerSlam, according to Better Wrestling Experience. This move is said to be a precursor to “a big story coming ahead” for Theory, who has been viewed by WWE as a future top star.

The 25-year-old has successfully defended his title against big names like Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Edge, and John Cena. His next challenge is Sheamus, with a match for the United States Championship scheduled for tonight’s SmackDown.

The match was pre-taped on May 19 to accommodate talent traveling for Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
