WWE Might Still Have Plans for “Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes”

According to international sources, WWE may still have plans to resume a great rivalry that apparently ended at WrestleMania 39. This is a restart for Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes. Reigns bested Rhodes in April, holding onto the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The tip given by Triple H in a recent interview that WWE never ends a story forever, could be used by the company’s creative team to resume the rivalry between the two main names of the company today.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on the last Wrestling Observer Radio that in fact the company has plans to hold at least one more match between Reigns and Rhodes, however, there is no idea when that would happen.

Previously it was said that WrestleMania XL could be the perfect stage for this rematch, however, lately there have been rumors that Rhodes will face Gunther in the biggest event of 2024.

Confirmed so far only have the fights of both fighters for the WWE Night of Champions. Rhodes will face Brock Lesnar, while Reigns will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Solo Sikoa, against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
