WWE Plans to Add Another Match to the Night of Champions

The Night of Champions, scheduled for this Saturday, already boasts a robust lineup, including high-stakes matches such as Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships. However, there might be an unexpected addition to the card.
Despite not having a match officially announced, LA Knight and Rick Boogs have traveled to Saudi Arabia for the event. According to insider sources, LA Knight, who has garnered significant popularity among the Saudi audience, might face Rick Boogs in a kickoff match. This would be a deviation from WWE’s usual practice of not scheduling pre-show matches, but it’s not entirely off the table.
If this match does take place, it would mark the first kickoff show match since Bayley’s victory over Ruby Riott at Backlash in 2018. Prior to this development, insiders had hinted at a significant push for LA Knight in the near future.
