WWE Talent Cuts Possible Following Endeavor Acquisition

Following WWE’s acquisition by Endeavor, concerns about potential talent cuts have been raised. According to a report from Wrestlevotes via GiveMeSport, talent departures could occur within the next six weeks. The report suggests that such cuts are a common occurrence after high-profile mergers and acquisitions.

AJ Styles, who recently returned to the ring after an injury, stated in an interview with Sportsmail, “I don’t know names at all, but I know a source that has said to expect a minor batch of releases prior to July 1, I think that’s just business.”

Since Triple H assumed the roles of WWE Chief Content Officer and Head of Creative in summer 2022, no main roster releases have occurred. Instead, he has bolstered the ranks by bringing multiple former stars back to the company. The upcoming weeks will reveal the impact of the Endeavor acquisition on WWE’s talent roster.
