WWE Yet to Decide on the First World Heavyweight Champion

WWE is set to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion at the Night of Champions event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on May 27. The final, featuring Seth Rollins and AJ Styles, culminates a tournament staged over recent weeks. However, the Better Wrestling Experience reports that WWE remains undecided about the victor, despite Rollins being Triple H’s favored contender.

The only potential hitch is Rollins’ commitment to acting projects, such as ‘Captain America: New World Order’, which could lead WWE to consider an extended storyline.

The reinstated World Heavyweight Championship will be exclusive to Monday Night RAW, while Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Title remain Friday Night SmackDown exclusives.
